the 2nd ( or is it the 3rd...?) official day of my chicken pox is not so bad. at least, it was nice relaxing at home watching DVDs when other ppl my age are slogging away in sch, learning abt differentiation (or is it vectors today? hm.), how to write a newspaper review in CHINESE, industries, & how to write feature reports, this time in english.
yes, it is nice to be relaxing when other ppl are slogging away.
but it is not so nice when you are itching in 3 places at the same time, but cant scratch those irritating itches, or when you think abt the amount of work & catching up you have to do, or when you have to worry abt the the dying cockroach that waves its feelers at you frm the corner of the sofa.
oh, yeah, & the boring DVD you are trying hard to watch.
i announce: Memoirs of a Geisha is very boring. firstly, i cant even hear the poor english they were speaking, esp the Mrs. Nita, or whatever she's called. it seems that she juz mumbles along whenever she feels like it, pretending that she's actually speaking english. Michelle Yeoh's english was definitely the best, in pronounciation & clearness.
& the storyline. i actually switched it off halfway, & i have nvr done that to any DVD before. isnt it an insult to the DVD when you havent given it the full time it deserved to run its show? but no, i couldnt stand it anymore, so i switched it off. it's juz too bad for that particular DVD, which was so unfortunate to have a boring movie recorded on it.
me & li zhen actually wanted to go watch that show, you know. but luckily we changed to I Not Stupid Too. :D
on a completely irrelevant topic, dont you juz love My Chemical Romance's music???
